The Primordial Era: level 120, Lord Abigor and the new balance of the Masters 🩸
This is the biggest update in Lamentosa's history. The main points:
- The maximum level goes from 80 to 120, with a new category, Primordial.
- Lord Abigor arrives on the server, and the Hidden Masters' spells now really work in battle.
- Combat between Masters has been rebalanced around a circle of hunters.
Bonus: Encyclopedia in the Journal menu.
After reading, open the Manual: Part 3 explains the Primordial Era and Part 4 explains combat, with numbers taken straight from the game.
PART I — The Primordial Era (levels 81 to 120)
Level 80 is no longer the end. The climb now goes up to level 120.
- New Primordial category (level 81 to 120), with purple soul stones. Primordials never compete with Elders: every collective event has its own Primordial field.
- What stays at level 80: Talent, Reborn, Hidden Masters and Supreme Spells.
- What moves to level 120: the experience cap, the attribute training lock, honor victories and the hunt gold bonus.
- Experience: up to level 100 the formula is the same. From level 100 on, every level costs twice as much experience.
- The Masters keep giving their bonus at every level up to 120. The Hidden Masters now also give points for every level above 80:
- Lord Abigor: +3 strength and +1 stamina per level.
- Blood Queen: +2 strength and +2 defense per level.
- Immortuos: still +2 strength and +2 defense per level.
- 26 Primordial Bosses (Nyxara, Ur-Lamia, The First Sire...), each one guarding a level 81 Unique Item.
- Two appear per day: one between 08:00 and 13:00 and another between 14:00 and 22:00. You can only fight one of them per day.
- Elders now have a single daily boss, between 13:00 and 20:00.
- New equipment every 5 levels, from 85 to 120: common, rare, elite, legendary and Tenebris.
- New creatures every 5 levels, from 81 to 120.
- Creatures above level 80 speak another language. Pay attention to what they say…
- Purple soul stones: dropped by the Primordial Bosses, used to upgrade equipment above level 80 at the Blacksmith and worth 11,700 gold in the exchange.
- New Primordial potions (level 81+): 5% / 9% / 14% / 18% / 22% / 33%.
⏰ New schedules (attention!)
The Primordials took the end of the evening, so the other categories were moved earlier. Server time (Moscow).
| Category | GvG / Clan War (open field) | Tournament |
|---|---|---|
| Soldier | 12:00 | 17:15 |
| Warrior | 14:30 | 17:45 |
| Voivode | 17:00 | 18:15 |
| Elder | 19:30 | 18:45 |
| Primordial | 22:00 | 21:30 |
PART II — The Hidden Masters
Lord Abigor arrives
Lord Abigor didn't appear on this server before. Now he takes disciples:
- Mission: at level 80, without a Master, eliminate 15,000 opponents on the battlefield.
- After the mission, open the War Triad Room in the city and become an adept: +213 strength and +93 stamina, then +3 strength and +1 stamina for every level above 80. You can join at level 80 or later: when you join, you receive at once the points of every level above 80 you already passed.
- The mission survives the Reborn, and the War Triad Room stays open at any level.
- A Lord Abigor adept can't be reborn or delete the account.
The Hidden Masters' spells now work
Before this update, the spells of the Blood Queen, Immortuos and Lord Abigor had no effect in battle on this server. Now they work, and their descriptions and values are in the Grimoire:
| Master | Spell | What it does (level 5) |
|---|---|---|
| Blood Queen | The Sight | On round 10, a hit with +200% base damage that can't be blocked or dodged |
| Blood Queen | Ravenous | On round 16, a hit with +380% base damage, only against Immortuos |
| Blood Queen | Mirror Wall | Copies 30% of the enemy's total defense |
| Immortuos | Necromancy | +30% base damage |
| Immortuos | Sudden Death | On round 16, a hit of 200% base damage that can't be blocked or dodged |
| Immortuos | Absolute Protection | Cancels Life Drain, Drained Explosion and Berserker Attack |
| Lord Abigor | Dragonbreath | Takes 15% of the enemy's total defense and adds it to your strength |
| Lord Abigor | Tridentness | On rounds 6, 12 and 18, a double hit that can't be blocked or dodged; blocks Paralyze |
| Lord Abigor | Green Sickness | The enemy fights at most 20 rounds; blocks Mirror Attack |
PART III — The new balance of the Masters
1. The core idea: the circle of hunters
There is no longer "the strongest Master". There is a circle where each Master hunts the next one:
- Classic Masters: Alacris → Aurum → Praegressus → Vitalis → Alacris
- Hidden Masters: Immortuos → Lord Abigor → Blood Queen → Immortuos
Against your prey you tend to win. Against your hunter, you tend to lose. Against everyone else the fight is even: your attributes, items, enchantments and spell choices decide it.
2. Spells that don't work against some Masters
The spells make the circle. Some of them don't work against certain Masters:
- Paralyze, Master Possession and Life Drain don't work against Praegressus.
- Mirror Attack, Drained Explosion and Dizziness don't work against Alacris.
- Berserker Attack doesn't work against Aurum.
- Dragonbreath, Tridentness and Green Sickness don't work against Immortuos.
- The Sight and Mirror Wall don't work against Lord Abigor.
- Absolute Protection, Necromancy and Sudden Death don't work against the Blood Queen.
- Alacris adepts are also immune to The Sight, Mirror Wall, Necromancy, Dragonbreath and Green Sickness.
- Bloody Hammer only works against Vitalis, Molten Gold only against Aurum and Ravenous only against Immortuos.
The full list is in each spell's description in the Grimoire and in the Manual, Part 4. When a spell doesn't work, the battle report says so right in round 0.
3. What changed in the classic spells (level 5)
| Spell | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Paralyze (Vitalis) | 5 rounds | 6 rounds |
| Poison Bite (Alacris) | 5% of life | 3% of life |
The other classic spells keep their values.
4. Master damage factor
Each Master has a PvP damage factor that balances the pairs outside the circle. It changes smoothly with the level (50, 80, 100 and 120). The table is in the Manual, Part 4.
5. Bosses
- The Bosses' life was recalculated so that the number of attacks to kill each Boss stays practically the same.
- The Bosses' spells now use the same table as the players' spells.
PART IV — Primordial Spells (level 120)
Every Master got a new spell, learned in the Master's hall at level 120. Values at level 5:
| Master | Spell | What it does | Doesn't work against |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitalis | Eternal Pulse | Every 4 rounds, recovers 8% of the life you lost in the fight | Praegressus |
| Aurum | Golden Ransom | Every normal hit received causes 30% less damage | Alacris |
| Alacris | Phantom Step | Every dodge strikes back with 60% of your base damage | Vitalis |
| Praegressus | Primordial Will | Weakens the enemy's debuff spells by 50% | Aurum |
| Immortuos | Blood Tithe | In round 1, burns 15% of the enemy's life that is above your full life | Blood Queen |
| Blood Queen | Oath Breaker | The enemy's "borrowed" spells lose 80% of their power | Lord Abigor |
| Lord Abigor | War Triad | Every 3 rounds, a hit that can't be blocked or dodged, with +10% damage | Immortuos |
None of them works against the hunter of your Master.
PART V — Other changes
- Tenebris Set: leaders no longer need to transfer the leadership to update the set. At every new Tenebris level (every 5 levels) the Status page shows a Renew option: the pieces are replaced by those of the new level, keeping upgrade, enchantment, durability and equipped state. Redeeming and renewing cost the clan 10,000 Virtus. New Leadership chapter in the Clan Handbook.
- Clan Wars: a war with no winner now lasts 15 days instead of 10 and ends in a draw, with 1,000 war points for each clan. Fixed: the victory was not always counted in "wars won".
- Infernal Plunder: fixed — the reduced immunity only hits players on the Black List of the clan with the bonus.
- Shadow Hunt: VIPs can buy extra attacks with Blood Crystals: +10 for 30, +20 for 52, +30 for 72, +50 for 126, up to 50 per day.
- Dungeons: after finishing one you see a countdown to the next.
- Encyclopedia: creatures show their gold per victory, items show their attributes at every upgrade level.
- Gilded Mirror: the bar on the PvP list only appears for Aurum adepts.
- Curse of the Hunter: the double creature gold now multiplies the base factor (Vitalis adepts get ×4 instead of ×3).
- Venom Heart (Alacris): the +1,000 life is now given as soon as the achievement is completed. Those who completed it before were compensated.
- Verba Infernalis: the book's description now says that only clan members at level 15 or higher receive the bonus.
- Fixed: a double click on "Learn" could learn a spell twice. The extra copies were removed and their cost refunded.
- Removed the mentions of the "Great Prize", which doesn't exist on this server.
Read the Manual
- Part 3: the Primordial Era, the new schedules, the Primordial Bosses, the level 120 spells and how to find the 3 Hidden Masters.
- Part 4 — Combat explained: the full formula, every spell with values per level, the circle of hunters and which spells don't work against whom.
The Manual's numbers come straight from the game the moment the page opens. If something changes, the Manual changes with it.
